Terms

Terms of Service

These terms describe the Keva Android application license, payment relationship, and the rules for using the product.

1. Who we are

“Keva”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the Keva product and brand, operated by an individual developer trading as a sole proprietor. The operator's details for a given order also appear on the Paddle checkout and receipt. Orders placed through Paddle are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record for that transaction. Paddle handles the payment checkout, payment records, applicable tax collection where required, and buyer billing support; Keva provides and supports the application.

2. Accepting these terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating, or using Keva, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Refund Policy, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase, install, or use the application. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

3. The Keva license

Each device may be granted a 7-day free trial of the full application before any purchase. The trial is a temporary permission, not a license, and it may be limited to one trial per account and per device. When it ends, the application remains installed and you keep access to your own local work, but starting new agent tasks requires a license.

After a completed purchase, Keva grants the purchasing account a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Keva Android application for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these terms. The license is a one-time license; it is not a subscription and does not create recurring charges.

One account may activate the license on up to two active device installations. You may remove an old device from your account before activating a replacement. An activation is for the account holder and may not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to another person.

4. Account and activation

Some features require an account identified by a verified email address. You are responsible for access to that email account and for keeping login links or codes private. We may ask you to verify ownership of an email before activating a device or assisting with an account issue.

Device limits are designed to protect the one-account license. We may suspend an activation that is clearly fraudulent, duplicated, or used to evade the device limit. If you lose access to a device, use the account device-management controls or contact [email protected].

5. Price and payment

The standard price currently shown on the pricing page is US$39.90 for one lifetime license, or CNY 198.00 for buyers charged in Chinese yuan. A founding member price may reduce this to US$19.90 / CNY 98.00 for the first 100 completed qualifying orders, and ends when that limit is reached. A refunded order does not release a founding member place. Which currency applies follows the country you buy from, as configured with Paddle, not the language of the page you read. Prices, currency conversion, and applicable taxes are shown by Paddle at checkout; the amount shown before you confirm payment is the amount you authorize.

We do not receive or store your full card number. Payment details and billing documents are handled through Paddle. For billing questions, use the support link in your Paddle receipt or visit paddle.net.

6. Third-party model services

Keva is an on-device agent application. It does not include credits or subscriptions for Claude, OpenAI, or any other model provider. If you connect a provider account, API key, or subscription, that provider's terms, privacy policy, availability, rate limits, and charges apply directly to you.

Any use of a model, model output, or connected provider account must comply with the laws and regulations applicable to you and, where relevant, to the model provider or the place where the service is accessed or provided. This includes requirements relating to data protection, intellectual property, export controls, sanctions, and content. You must also comply with the provider's terms.

You are responsible for checking generated content and commands before relying on them. Do not use Keva or a connected model service for emergency response, medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial decisions, safety-critical control, or other situations where an error could cause serious harm.

7. Acceptable use

You must use Keva lawfully and with the permissions required for the files, accounts, networks, and services you access. You must not use it to:

  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • deploy malware, steal credentials, evade security controls, or gain unauthorized access;
  • commit fraud, abuse payment systems, or bypass licensing or device limits;
  • interfere with the application, its update channel, or another user's account; or
  • violate the terms or usage rules of a connected third-party service.

8. Ownership

Keva and its software, branding, documentation, design, and related materials are owned by Keva or its licensors. These terms grant a license to use the application; they do not transfer copyright, source code, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights to you. You retain rights to your own files and content.

9. Updates and availability

We may release updates, security fixes, compatibility changes, or new versions. Some updates may be required for security or continued operation. We do not promise that every feature, model provider, Android version, or third-party service will remain available indefinitely.

From time to time, we may introduce new products, features, services, or optional functionality. Unless the applicable purchase page or order expressly says otherwise, future additions may require a separate purchase or additional charge. Any such additions will not change the license or entitlements expressly included in a completed purchase.

Keva is provided over software and network environments that can change. Keep backups of important files and do not rely on Keva as the only copy of valuable work.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where required to address fraud, unlawful use, a serious security risk, a successful payment dispute, or a material breach of these terms. A completed refund may also end the relevant license. Where practical, we will provide an explanation and a path to resolve an account mistake. Termination does not remove rights that cannot legally be removed.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keva is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, compatibility with every device, or the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of model-generated output. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Compatibility and future platform changes. You are responsible for confirming before purchase that your device and Android version meet the requirements shown on the download or purchase page. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to confirm that the application runs on the device and Android version you use at that time, subject to those requirements. Later Android operating-system upgrades, changes to Android security or permission requirements, manufacturer restrictions, changes to system components, or other platform changes may limit or prevent the application from running. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, incompatibility caused solely by such changes after purchase is outside our voluntary refund policy. This does not apply to a failure caused by a defect in Keva, an update supplied by us, or an incompatibility that existed at the time of purchase, and it does not limit non-waivable statutory consumer rights.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keva will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the application or a third-party model service. Where a liability limit is permitted, our total liability for a claim relating to the application will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected license during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the product, payment process, or law changes. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase, unless a later change is required by law or is more favorable to you. We will publish the current version on this page.

14. Contact

For product, account, or purchase questions, contact [email protected]. For a Paddle transaction, you can also use the buyer-support link in your receipt or paddle.net.
